Deaconess Allethia Washington is married to Deacon Clifford Washington. They have two children and five grand children .
She is a retired Charleston County detention deputy. She is a member of ST. John Baptist Church in Ravenel S.C.
Deaconess Washington loves working in her church, and she also loves doing outreach ministry in the community.
Her motto is, "if I can help someone along the way than her living is not in vain." Her favorite scripture is the Psalms 23.
"My vision for the deaconess ministry is to see it grow by having each one reach one to teach one by edifying the body of Jesus Christ."
